Chicken Curry  
Ingrediants:
  • chicken : 1 kg (cleaned & cut into piece)

  • Onions : 2 Large Whole

  • Chillies : 2

  • Coriander Powder

  • Salt : 1tblsp (can be changed According to Taste)

  • Curry Leaves(optional)

  • Oil : 2tblsp

  • Chilli Powder :2tsp

  • Cumin Seeds : 1tsp

  • Turmeric Powder : 1tsp

  • GingerGarlic Paste : 2tblsp

  • Whole Black Pepper : 1tsp

  • Cinnamon : 1 inch piece

  • Cloves : 15 pieces

  • Cardamom (elaichi) powder : 2 whole

  • Poppy seeds (khus khus) : 1tsp

  • Coconut(dry) : 1 inch x 2 inch piece

  • Coriander seeds : 2tblsp

Method :
Paste :Heat the small Frying pan. Fry cumin seeds, cinnamon cloves,
coriander seeds, cocunut,whole black pepper,chillies one after other untill they splutter.
Fry the chopped 1 whole onion (1 inch pieces).
Add poppy seeds,cinnamon seeds,to the fried ingrediants and grind them to a fine paste.
(add water if needed while grinding)
Chopping :Chop the onion,corriander leaves finely and keep aside.
Cooking :Heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large bottomed vessel, over a medium heat.
Add Onions and let them cook for 4 min.
Add turmeric powder, GingerGarlic Paste and chilli powder.
Add the chicken.Stir all over and cook for 5 mins.
Now add the grinded paste to this.stir it Add the salt and chillie Powder.
stir it well so that evrtthing mixes well.Add 1/2 glass water if u need some gravy.
Now cook for about 30 mins until the chicken is soft and tender.
Serving : Transfer the curry into a serving dish.
Now Garnish according your way with coorinder leaves or just sprinkle the cut corrinder leaves on top of the curry.
Goes well with Chapathi or rice.
