Malai Kofta  
Ingrediants for Kofta:
  • Paneer 200gms.

  • Boiled potatoes 2 large Mashed

  • Corn flour 3tbsp

  • Cashew nuts and Pistachios cut in small pcs. 4tbsp.

  • Raisins 2tbsp.

  • Salt to taste

Ingrediants for Gravy:
  • Tomatoes 8 large blended with ginger and 2 green chillies

  • Nestle cream 1 can

  • Cashew paste 5tbsp. (made with cashews and milk in the blender)

  • cloves 4 pcs.

  • Cardamom 5-6pcs.

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder OR saffron soaked in warm milk

  • Sugar 2tbsp.

Garnish:
  • 1 tbsp. grated cheese or paneer

  • 1 tbsp. chopped coriander

Method :
Koftas : Combine all ingredients of the Koftas and roll them into oblong balls and deep fry till golden brown.
Strain & keep aside.
Gravy : Heat oil in a kadhai (wok).
Add cloves, cardamom and stir till little brown.
Add the tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
Add the cashew paste and again cook for 8-10 mins. (If you require a little thin consistency then add some milk)
Put in the saffron soaked in milk or the turmeric powder and salt and sugar
Cover and simmer about 5 mins.
Last add the nestle cream in desired quantity

Serving : Garnish with grated cheese and green coriander leaves.
Goes well with Chapathi,Naan or Rice.
